Cornbread Dressing

My grandma made this for my family on vacation, and it also has very good home cooking. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

* Ingredients :

° 1 package (16 ounces) dry cornbread mix

° 2 tablespoons butter

° Half a cup of chopped celery

° 1 small onion

° 2 scrambled eggs

° 2 cups chicken broth

° 2 tablespoons dried sage

° Salt and pepper to taste

* Directions :

Step 1

Prepare dry cornbread mixture according to package directions. Cool and crumble.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Greaasee  9″ ** 13″ baking plate .

Step 3

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and saute celery and onion until softened.

Step 4

In large bowl, combine celery, onion, 3 cups crumbled cornbread, egg, chicken broth, sage, salt and pepper to taste; Mix well.

Fifth step

Transfer to prepared dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
