Hawaiian pineapple cake

* ingredients:


°2 c all-purpose flour

°2 c sugar

°2 eggs

°1 teaspoon baking soda

°1 teaspoon vanilla

°pinch of salt

°1 – 20 ounces crushed (undrained) pineapple in its own juice – not syrup

°1 c nuts, optional


Oven 350 degrees F.

cream cheese frosting

1/2 cup butter or 1 stick

1-8 ounces soft cream cheese

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 c confectioners’ sugarCoconut for garnish – optional

Mixing all cake ingredients in bowl.

Pour into a greased 9″ x 13″ skillet and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes (until top is golden brown).

frost:Beat butter, cream cheese, and vanilla together until creamy.

Mixing powder sugar.Decorate the cake with cream cheese while it is still warm.Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
