Homemade Caramel Cake Recipe

*Ingredients / for 6 people

°1 pot of yogurt

°2 jars of flour

°1/2 sachet of yeast

°2 jars of sugar

°1/2 jar of oil

°2 eggs


+For the salted butter caramel:

°200g sugar

°20 cl of full liquid cream

°100g butter

°1 pinch of fleur de sel


1 Turn the oven on to 200°C.

Make the salted butter caramel:

start by making a simple caramel with the sugar and a little water.

Wait for the caramelization and remove from the heat.

Add the butter and the fleur de sel, mix well, put back on low heat and add the whole liquid cream then mix until the cream is smooth.

2 Now prepare the cake. Mix everything (yogurt, flour, yeast, sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla) in a salad bowl. Finally add the salted butter caramel, then you can add it all or keep a little to accompany the yogurt cake.
To finishBake for 35 minutes in a buttered pan.
