Philly-Cheesesteak-Sliders

* Ingredients :


°1 tsp olive oil

°1 onion

°1 large green bell pepper, thinly sliced

°1⁄2 pound minced fresh steak

°1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

°1⁄2 teaspoon ground garlic powder

°salt and pepper to taste

°1 to 12 packets of sweet rolls

°6 slices of provolone cheese

°1 tablespoon melted butter

°1 tsp dried thymePreheat oven 400 degrees F .


*Directions :


In a large skillet, heat the oil and add the onions and green peppers.

Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the peppers and onions have softened.Then add the minced steak, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Cook the steak, breaking it up with two forks to prevent the steak from sticking together. Cook until the steak is no longer red. Set the dish aside.

Cut the buns in half horizontally, keeping the package of 12 buns intact. Place on a baking sheet. Spread steak mixture evenly on bottom half of buns.

Top with cheese slices and top half of bunsIn a small bowl, combine the melted butter, dried thyme and Worcestershire sauce.

Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the buns.Place the sliders in the oven and bake for 17 to 20 minutes or until the tops of the buns are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
