RICE PUDDING

*Ingredients for 4 persons


°125g round rice

°1 liter of milk

°40g sugar

°1 vanilla pod

Cut your vanilla pod in half lengthwise, place it in a saucepan with the milk. Heat the milk.

Rinse the rice with water and pour it into the pan when the milk begins to boil.

Cover the pan and cook over very low heat for 1h10 to 1h30.

A word of advice: do not stir the rice during cooking.

10 minutes before the end of cooking, pour the sugar into the pan and stir.

When you remove the lid to pour the sugar, you will see that the rice will have “swollen”.

This is normalTo finishAt the end of cooking, remove the vanilla pod.

Pour the rice into a bowl and let cool to room temperature.

Serve at room temperature.
