°1 chicken of 1.5 kg
°½ minced garlic clove
°2 ½ peeled garlic cloves
°½ lemon cut in half
°½ teaspoon of olive oil
°¼ teaspoon dried thyme
°¼ teaspoon dried rosemary
°salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Mix the oil, thyme, rosemary and minced garlic.
Brush the chicken with the mixture.
PlacING garlic cloves ALSO lemon in the cavity.
Adding salt & pepper.
Place the chicken on the oven rack and put the drip pan underneath.
Roasted it for 1 h, basting it with cooking juices.
Letting chicken rest for 15 min before carving it.
