The Best Italian bomboloni

Ingredients for (6 people):

°1 pinch of salt

°1/2 lemon zest

°Frying oil

°25g sugar

°25g softened butter

°14 cl of milk

°2 eggs

°300g flour

°2 tsp instant dry baker’s yeast

How to make it:


In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Making a well and adding lukewarm milk. Blend well.

Beat eggs to an omelette & adding them, blending again. Finally add the butter and mix. Let the dough rest.

After 2 hours, roll out your dough with a rolling pin, 1/2 cm thick, take a water glass and cut circles in the dough. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

Heat your cook oil, putting donuts also cooking 2 min on every side. Adding powder sugar & Enjoy warm.
