Free Play Days features four free Xbox games this weekend

Microsoft has announced this weekend’s free Xbox games with Free Play Days. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass Core subscribers can now play Crime Boss: Rockay City, Cities: Skylines Remastered, and From Space. Three of Destiny 2’s expansions, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and The Witch Queen, are also free to play for all players until June 3.

Both Cities: Skylines – Remastered and From Space are already included with an Ultimate subscription, so Ultimate members will want to focus their achievement-hunting efforts elsewhere this weekend. If you are interested in checking out either of these games, From Space has a base completion estimate of 30-35 hours, whereas a base list Cities: Skylines – Remastered completion will take between 150 and 200 hours. For those interested in checking out one of the worst reviewed video games of 2023, make sure you give Crime Boss: Rockay City a whirl. A base list completion here is estimated to take around 70 hours.

While Destiny 2 is a free-to-play game, its chunky expansions are not. However, all Xbox players can now play Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and The Witch Queen for free until June 3. Forsaken is the only expansion with achievements, and according to estimates, you’ll need to set aside 200-300 hours for its 240G.

If you missed it, Ubisoft announced that its free-to-play shooter XDefiant will launch on Xbox Series X|S later this month.
