HOMEMADE LEMON MERINGUE-PIE

This is the perfect lemon pie! Fresh lemon custard filling and covered with meringue sauce. Make this every time you need a sweet treat.


*  ingredients :


° 1 c sugar white

° 2 tsp all purpose flour

° Three tablespoons of cornstarch

° 1/4 teaspoon salt

° 1 half cup of water

° 2 lemons, squeezed and grated

° 2 tablespoons butter

°Four egg yolks, scrambled

° 1 pie crust (9 inches), baked

° Four egg whites

° 6 tablespoons white sugar


* Directions  :


The oven is preheat 350 degresTo making lemon filling: In medium saucepan, combine 1 c sugar, flour, cornstarch, & salt.

Adding water / lemon juice & lemon zest.Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until boiling. come on.Put the egg yolks in a small bowl and gradually add 1/2 cup of the new sugar mixture.

Stir the egg yolk mixture with the remaining sugar mixture again.Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, until it thickens. Take off the stove.

Pour the filling into the puff pastry.To making meringue: In a glass or metal bowl, beat egg whites to foamy.

Gradually adding sugar & continue to beat to stiff peaks form. Spreading meringue on pie to seal edges on crust.Baking  preheated oven about 10 minutes, or To meringue  golden brown.
