Gray Zone Warfare is coming sooner than you think.
The release date for hotly anticipated tactical shooter Gray Zone Warfare has been announced and it is sooner than anyone expected, as the game will launch tomorrow.
Gray Zone Warfare will launch into early access on April 30 at 6 am PT / 9 am ET, with four editions of the game available at launch. The standard edition of the game will cost $34.99, with further editions costing more but also unlocking in-game perks.
The release date was announced alongside a launch trailer that further shows off Gray Zone Warfare, which continues to look great. After spending a week with the game I was incredibly impressed and am looking forward to playing some more, especially with the developers saying they have fixed a lot of the big issues streamers found in the test.
If you are looking for an alternative to Escape From Tarkov after the controversy surrounding the game over the past week this is a solid option, but don’t expect Gray Zone Warfare to play in a similar way to Tarkov. There is much less loot on the map, with loot not really being a focus of the game, and you’ll spend more time-fighting AI than you would usually in Tarkov thanks to the massive map. That being said, it does scratch the same itch and if you don’t plan to return to Tarkov this could become your new favorite game, especially as I expect major improvements over the coming months of early access. It also has a PvE game mode as standard.
Gray Zone Warfare Editions
Standard Edition: $34.99
The standard edition will include a locker size of 10×24 along with a secure lock box that is 2×2, as well as the base equipment you start the game with.
Tactical Edition: $57.99
The tactical edition increases your locker size to 10×35, and also includes the 2×2 secure lock box. You will get all the gear the standard edition gets, along with;
