Star Wars Jedi Survivor feels the force as Game Pass boosts Xbox players by 570%

We’ve seen a huge surge in players unlocking Star Wars Jedi: Survivor achievements since it joined Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play on April 25. Since its debut in the service, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Xbox player numbers have exploded, proving again that it’s one of the best action-adventure games on Xbox.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players skyrocket following Xbox Game Pass debut

According to our Gameplay Chart, which uses data pulled from over 2.5 million random active Xbox accounts (not just TrueAchievements members), Respawn’s Star Wars adventure was the 127th most popular Xbox game during the week leading up to its arrival in Game Pass. It then joined Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play alongside Another Crab’s Treasure on April 25, and it’s been nothing short of a success. Looking at this week’s Gameplay Chart, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now 20th on the list, thanks to a huge 570.4% increase in Xbox players.

This is just one of many success stories for Xbox Game Pass. Following the release of Amazon’s brilliant Fallout TV show, Fallout 4 saw a 210% rise in Xbox players, which was likely aided by the fact that it’s accessible to any player with an Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass subscription. The service has also been praised by developers. We recently spoke to Another Crab’s Treasure developer Aggro Crab, who told us that the “era of Game Pass has been a huge boon so far.”

Now, circling back to Star Wars, May 4 celebrates Star Wars Day this weekend, making it a great time to enjoy some video games set in a galaxy far, far away. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is obviously available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members via EA Play, but if you’re not subscribed to the service, fear not, as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is also one of the two Free Play Days games this weekend.

In other Xbox Game Pass news, Microsoft has announced the first four games joining the service in May, while also revealing that eight games will leave Game Pass soon.
